Description

A deciduous, hardy, clump forming, perennial. Forms a clump of handsome, pleated, elliptical leaves to 30cm. Large panicles of small star-shaped, deep reddish brown on erect leafy stems of up to 1.2m in height. Approximate Height: 1.2m. Approximate Spread: 50cm. Plant requires full sun to partial shade in moist but well drained soil. pH range: Acid to Neutral. Soil Types: Sand, Loam, Chalk. Prefers a sheltered location. Toxic if eaten.
