Commonly known as the Arrowhead plant this houseplant produces young foliage in the shape that the name suggests. This cultivar is extremely popular due to its soft pink colouring of its foliage. This plant naturally occurs in the rainforest and grows as a vine, up through the tree canopy to reach the sun. It is important to note that as the leaves mature the foliage loses its distinct arrowhead shape, they become multi lobed. For this to occur however the plant needs to become quite large and mature, so if you prefer the young arrowhead like foliage, it is relatively easy to maintain this.
Plant likes to be grown in a bright spot but away from direct sunlight, the plant can be left to trail or trimmed to maintain a compact form. Feeding the plant once a month in spring and summer can also improve the health of the plant.
This plant has Air purifying properties, it is however toxic if consumed so keep out of the way of pets and children.
