Description

“Soft Shield Fern” An evergreen clump forming fern with soft spreading dark green fronds arranged in shuttlecocks. Height 45cm. Spread 45cm. Plant in a most cool, moist, lightly shaded site or full sun if given plenty of moisture. Tolerant of dry shade but water regularly in their first season and mulch well.

All our plants are grown in pots to reduce the risk of pest and disease. At certain times of the year our perennials are potted up into larger containers as and when the plants need. This means that plant can have a root system that is between 0.5L and 1.4L during this period.
