Description
Barrenwort,Bishop’s Mitre. A clump-forming perennial with heart-shaped, green leaves, copper-red and brown when young. Charming yellow flowers with red tinted spurs. Max Height 30cm. Max Spread 1m. Flowers March to April. Partial shade. Hardy. Back-fill with soil mixed with peat substitute and a suitable fertiliser.
All our plants are grown in pots to reduce the risk of pest and disease. At certain times of the year our perennials are potted up into larger containers as and when the plants need. This means that plant can have a root system that is between 0.5L and 1.4L during this period.
