Calathea ornata ‘Sanderiana’

Description

Calathea, commonly known as the prayer plant due the fact their leaves fold up at night are a well-regarded group of Houseplants. This variety would look good on a psychedelic film set, known as the Pin Stripe Calathea its dark rich green foliage with psychedelic pink stripes running along it.

The plant likes bright but indirect light, but too much sun with cause the colours of the foliage to fade. Keep at a temperature above 15c and in the growing season the plant likes to be well watered, mist when possible.
