Description
(Inca Series). A hardy, tuberous – clump-forming, herbaceous perennial. Foliage forms a bushy mound of luscious green leaves, has been specifically bred to be shorter with larger flowers. Flowers are blood red with an orangey centred glow. Flowering period: June – November. Height 30cm. Spread 30cm. Prefers full sun or partial shade with free-draining soil or compost. Some growers suggest it can tolerate shade. To encourage more flowers, rather than cutting off the old ones, pull the whole flowering stem from its bottom away from the plant.
