Description
(syn Midnight Star). A deciduous, clump forming, herbaceous perennial. Very dark blue flowers in clusters in summer. Lush green strap like deciduous leaves. RHS say It’s a “Star performer”. Flowering period: August to September. Height 60cm. Spread 40cm. Plant requires full sun in well drained, fertile soil. Keep well-watered during the summer months if in a container. Deciduous Agapanthus tend to be hardier than evergreen varieties. Make sure during the winter months the soil does not become water logged as this can cause the crown to rot
